Dear Alums,

We've set the reunion dates for June 8,9, and 10th 2007, in Little Rock. After correspondence with Central's current principal, Mrs. Rousseau, we were informed that we wouldn't have any access to the school in September of '07, and that all the hotel rooms in downtown LR were already booked for the weekend of the Little Rock Nine celebration. So, June it is!

Friday Night, June 8th - Casual Meet and Greet.
Cotham's - 1401 West 3rd (Corner of Victory and 3rd Street or Markham) 7 p.m. - LATE
Alumni; Spouse optional
Dress - Casual

First chance to compare grey hairs (or dye jobs)! We are all gathering at Cotham's (Downtown) starting at 7:00 pm. Good southern cooking, beer/wine, and a nice casual atmosphere to get to know each other again. Afterwards we can spill into the downtown Rivermarket to sample the LR nightlife. This time we don't have to worry about the police.

Saturday Day, June 9th - Central School Tour and Picnic
Little Rock Central High, Quigley Stadium 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Dress: Casual
Alumni and Family (Note - Bring your Kids, footballs, and Frisbees.)

Arrive at Central at 10 am if you'd like to take a tour of that amazing campus and hear the latest on our Alma Mater firsthand from the Principal, Mrs. Rousseau. Afterwards, we will adjourn to Quigley Stadium for a day-long picnic. Bar-BQ, Sunburn, and more hang-out time.

Saturday Night, June 9th - Pavilion in the Park
7 p.m. - midnight
Dress: Coat and Tie/ Business Attire
Alumni, spouses welcome

Dancing and conversation while we listen to the William Staggers(c/o '87) Trio. Food and drinks will be catered by Trios. Last chance to really and truly embarrass yourself - don't miss it!

Tickets
For advance purchase, the ticket price is $65 per person. if you did not purchase in advance, the price will be $75 per person at the door. So it pays to buy your tickets now!

Donations and Early Bookings
Given the low ticket costs, early booking and donations in excess of the ticket costs are very welcome. For everyone that can give a little extra, or who want to go ahead and reserve a ticket, thank you in advance! If our proceeds exceed the Reunion costs, this excess will be donated to Central.

Hotel Rooms
Many of you coming in from out of town may be planning to stay in a hotel room Friday and/or Sat night, so we're working on group rates, and will let you know what we come up with.

There are now just over 190 of us registered on the site, and our reunion looks like its going to be very well attended. Still, the more the merrier, so PLEASE HELP by spreading the word about the site, and the reunion dates.
